How are walls mounted to permanent walls?
Mounting our partition walls to a fixed wall, is amazingly simple! Just follow these steps:

Start by screwing the our “KTK” Wall Mounting Bracket securely onto the fixed wall using the screws provided. We supply a level, so use this to be sure the mounting bracket is level. Ensure that it is firmly attached and will provide a stable base for the wall.

Next, slide the first panel over the top of the “KTKWall” mounting bracket. This will allow for a secure and snug fit between the panel and the wall.

Once the panel is properly nested within the KTKWall bracket, proceed to screw the wall ends onto the bracket. This will provide additional support and stability for the wall so you may continue to add more partition walls to the build-out.
Our custom mounting method offers a reliable and secure way to mount the wall to a fixed wall, ensuring that it remains in place and provides the desired aesthetic and functionality.
How are walls connected vertically?
Pareti Mobile Walls are designed for people who don’t have a great deal of experience with tools – so we keep it simple!
Our panels connect via “joiners” which we’ve custom designed for Pareti products. These are safe, simple, reliable – and earth-friendly! Simple place joiners into the joiner slots on the sides of the walls, then push the walls together so all joiners mate with the new walls joiner slots. Finally use the provided screws to secure the top joiner to prevent the walls from separating.
How do the panels and joiner connectors work together for assembling Pareti Partitions?
The panels and connectors work together seamlessly to facilitate the assembly process. Each panel is comprised of two MDF outer panels. These panels are firmly attached to an interior frame system, resulting in an incredibly strong and durable wall panel.
To ensure a secure fit, our partition wall panel joiner (connectors) are used at the top, middle sections, and bottom of each wall side. These joiners allow the panels to be easily attached to one another, promoting stability and strength.
For added convenience and to enjoy the most normal, realistic looking room possible, the door is a standard door. We can equip your door with locking or keyed locking door handle hardware. You may also choose between a panelled or flat-panel door style. These provide both security and ease of use – and they look great. Wall panels with doors install with a screwdriver or drill, just like our standard wall panels. In fact, installation of our entire system requires just a wrench, level, ladder, and screwdriver (or drill, which will make things event go faster).
To give the assembly a polished and finished appearance, the finishing end caps play a vital role. End caps fit onto the exposed edge of your walls and screw into place. They provide a sleek and finished look. If you don’t have visible ends you won’t need them.

What should be considered before purchasing a mobile walls system?
Before purchasing a wall partition, there are a few important factors to consider. First and foremost is measuring the height of your ceiling. It is crucial to ensure that your ceiling height is at least 3 inches higher than the height of the partition you intend to buy. For example, if you are looking for an 8-foot partition, your ceiling should have a minimum height of 8 feet and 3 inches. This allows for comfortable assembly and placement of the partition in your space. Without this clearance, the partition may not fit properly or be installable at all, which we certainly want to avoid.
Another crucial consideration is checking the condition of your floor. Look carefully for any dips or bulges that may impact the installation of the partition. Pareti’s mobile partition system has adjustable feet, allowing you to make your walls plumb. If your flooring has extreme dips (for example – if you roll a marble and it rolls freely) let us know and we can advise on how to adapt your partition walls accordingly.

How long does it take to assemble the door panel section?
The door panel section slides into place in just a few seconds. (The side joiners fit into the pockets first, which only takes a few seconds.) Once in position, you’ll need to screw in the top joiner.
The door itself is completely assembled and ready for installing – all you’ll need to do once it’s installed is to attach the accompanying doorknob hardware with a screwdriver.
The process is straightforward – simply insert the joiners, push the panels together, screw in the top joiners, and you’ll be done in no time!
We recommend using a drill and an 8 foot ladder for faster installation and to reach the top joiners. These tools will help ensure a secure and stable installation. With all the necessary equipment and a little bit of time, you’ll have your locking door and assembled private room to enjoy in very little time.
What tools are needed for assembly?

How are the partition panels connected together?
The panels are connected together using a combination of our custom joiner connectors. These are designed to be extremely simple and intuitive to use.
Each portable partition panel is composed of two MDF panels attached to a specially designed interior frame system. The joiner connectors allow the panels to be securely attached at the top, middle, and bottom of each wall section, ensuring a strong and stable connection.
What are the panels made of?
Pareti’s wall panels are made of wood – an MDF cladding on both sides, wood interior framework inside.

How long does it take to assemble and install the partition wall?
Assembly time will depend on the size of your wall. Once the walls are unloaded and unpacked, the actual assembly for a 12 foot wall will take about 30 minutes.
Times may vary depending on whether you use our KTKWall connector kit (many floor plans do not require this), and if your floor is extremely unlevel or warped.
The assembly and installation process of our wall kits typically requires a minimal amount of time, as two individuals can complete it quickly. Our aim is to ensure a hassle-free experience for our customers, which is why our wall kits are designed to be easily put together with little to no construction or tool experience necessary.
What's included in a portable wall partition kit?
We customize according to your space and needs – but basically – unless you specify otherwise, the Freestanding Partition Wall With Door kit includes a 32″ wide, standard hollow core door.
The height of the door can vary depending on the height of the wall you purchase – standard walls are 96″ in height.
Our portable partition walls include your choice of door handle hardware, and choice between flat or paneled hollow core doors. We can also go smaller if you prefer a hinged closet-style of door, sliding barn door, or more.
When your door is installed it and the surrounding walls will look natural and similar to your permanent walls.
