Czech & Slovak Museum & Library
Our original prototype portable walls are still in use today. See what Curator Stefanie Kohn has to say about our portable walls.

By creating different configurations and using color, the walls always look new. Creating new and interesting spaces helps to lend visual and spatial interest to patrons who visit.
The museum has also proved to be a great testing ground for our walls. For example, artifacts and some casework can be hung directly on our portable walls.
Stefanie has noted our portable walls can hold more weight than the museum’s drywall walls, as our walls won’t delaminate. The original set was purchased for a winding exhibit featuring Alphonse Mucha. Many of the prints featured in the exhibit was framed in glass, within large, heavy frames.
The same walls have been patched and used repeatedly for temporary or special exhibits.
